We are designers –sure. We are innovative thinkers –yea. We are problem solvers, creative strategists, brand builders and occasionally, bundt cake bakers –most definitely. But in a nutshell, really, we’re personality nudists. We let it all hang out and we look for clients who like to do the same. Our number one job, our highest priority is to identify the essence of a brand, and to expose it in a clever, effective and comprehendible way.

Who We Work With

We’d love to say our clients come in all shapes and sizes, but they dont. Sure, they might be from different industries and have different goals, customers or obstacles, but all in all, they’ve got more in common than not. I guess what we’re trying to say is: we’re picky bastards and like any great love story there has to be chemistry. Right? Our clients tend to be bold, courageous and willing to spice things up a bit. Our Method

Every project we encounter has unique elements. That said, we’ve worked in this industry long enough to know that working “off the creative cuff” is not only impractical and inefficient, but irresponsible and downright silly. We are able to consistently deliver quality results to our clients because of our persistent grit and strong foundational structure –which looks a little like this:

1Collaborate — We’re not one of those agencies that takes the reigns and doesn’t show face until it’s time to launch the product. As an agency, our role is to understand what the client wants, suggest what the client needs, and figure out how to deliver a product that combines your depth of understanding, with our flavor and expertise. You complete us. <3
2Comprehend — We’re also not the types to shoot first and ask questions later. We believe that the key to building a successful relationship with our client is to ask the right questions up front, and to take the time to actually understand your answers (our girlfriend’s have trained us well).
3Vision — We’re not exactly a “hands off” agency. We sorta like to get all dirty in the creative trenches. This is the part where we put on our thinking caps and begin to brainstorm. The result of which is what we call our Idea Blueprint -basically a map that outlines all of the moving pieces and parts of the long game strategy.
4Execute — With a blueprint set, we put our strategy into place and go. Are there unexpected obstacles? Sure. Do we ever steer off course? Absolutely. And we take pride in that. We think on our feet, and when we do identify potential snags or setbacks, we work with the client to find an appropriate, efficient and effective solution.
5Cocktails — What good is hard work if you don’t celebrate? We launch, you win, everyone drinks!

Now, we certainly don’t want to toot our own horns, but here are a few of the places we tend to excel…

1The Art of Explanation — We like to take complex, unrelatable ideas and make them clear and familiar to a target audience. It’s at the heart of what we do on a project to project basis. Whether that’s a complicated message about the economic benefits of a Streetcar, explaining the concrete potential of branding an entire city, or communicating a brand’s core values into any variety of medium (campaign/contest/infographic/mission statement). We believe that explanation is an art, and not one to be taken for granted.
2Awareness Campaigns — Boy do we love a good ol’ awareness campaign. We exercise our creative hats by piecing together strategic campaigns that build awareness of a brand, industry or message by ensuring that the ideas are not only clear and well thought out, but highly shareable.
3Contests — Often the best way to raise awareness and keep your community engaged with your brand is to create a relevant, enticing contest… and then give away tons of prizes. Whether that be through Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or YouTube, we’ve executed highly effective contests for plenty of clients including Red Bull, Umami Burger and The Eagle Rock Yacht Club.
4Brand Building — Ultimately though, we are brand identifiers and builders. Through our Holmes-like power of observation, speculation and articulation, we go deep into the soul of a business and find what makes them unique. Then manufacture clever and novel ways to convey that brand to their customers and clients.
